Lymington to Yarmouth with Wightlink
Crossing time approximatley 30 minutes
On leaving the ferry terminal take the second exit on the roundabout by the quay turning right and following signs for Totland and Alum Bay. When you reach Totland village, at the war memorial roundabout, take the first exit into Weston Road passing the Broadway Garage. Watch for the speed bumps in the road. At the end of the road turn left at the T junction by the school into York Road. Just before the Catholic church turn right into Weston Lane. Stoats Farm is 500 yards along on the left.
The Island has many thousands of visitors driving on unfamiliar roads all year round. Therefore, speed limits are sometimes lower than might be expected on the mainland (or England / the north island). There are rigorous speed checks from time to time in various areas to help to keep the roads as safe as possible. You'll be happier and safer if you stick to the limits.
